COVID-19 Safety

Air filter at dentist office in Union County NJWith the current environment of COVID-19, we are taking extra precautions for your safety at Mountainside Family Dental. Many of these protocols start before you even get to our dental office.

Before your arrival, you'll be asked to fill out the ADA screening form so we can effectively lower the risk of everyone that comes into the office.

Each room in our dental office is equipped with a heavy-duty air filter, and we are using extra cleaning precautions before each patient visit. We will also take the temperatures of both our staff members and our patients before they enter the office. We adhere to the highest level of sterilization protocols for both patient rooms and instruments to ensure the safety of our patients and team.

Upon Your Arrival to Mountainside Family Dental

Hand holding thermometer and hand sanitizer at Mountainside dentist officeWhen you arrive at our dentist office, we ask that you call us first and speak with the front desk to let us know that you are here. Since we are not currently using our waiting room, we will give you a call to let you into the office and walk you directly to your exam room to lower your contact with other patients and team members.

To keep the number of people that enter the office to a minimum, each patient should come into the office alone, unless they are a child under the age of 12. Children under the age of 12 may be accompanied by one parent or guardian in the exam room. For older kids, parents can walk them to the front door, so we can ask any necessary questions and obtain the required consent.

It is also essential that all who enter our Mountainside dentist office please wear their face covering or mask while they are here.

We look forward to continuing to provide you with the personalized dental care you've come to expect from Mountainside Family Dental while also keeping everyone who enters our dental office safe. Please call us at (908) 232-6900 if you have any questions before your appointment.
